What’s the difference between an answering service and virtual receptionist?

Virtual receptionists provide a complete solution for small- and medium-sized business seeking to replace an in-house receptionist while maintaining the benefits at a fraction of the cost. Answering services also provide value-add solutions, though the range and complexity of services is not as extensive as a virtual receptionist.

Where is Nexa Receptionists located?

Our virtual receptionists are located in our Phoenix, AZ headquarters.

Are my calls answered live?

Yes, your calls will always be answered live by one of our virtual receptionists.

Do you outsource my calls?

All Nexa Receptionists’ virtual receptionists are employees of Nexa Receptionists, and over 99% of all calls are answered on location at our headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, with the remaining calls answered by virtual receptionists working remotely in Arizona.

How are my calls answered?

Nexa Receptionists’ specially trained virtual receptionists will answer your calls in a friendly and cheerful manner using your company’s answer phrase. From there, your virtual receptionist will call screen / transfer the call, take messages, provide Company FAQs, directions to offices, quote or dispatch service, and collect demographic and other contact information for marketing purposes, among other things.

Pricing FAQs

How do the billing cycles work?

Nexa Receptionists’ billing periods are 28 days (4 weeks) in length. The minute allotment of each plan corresponds to a single 4-week period. There are no rollover minutes. For example, if you choose the Professional Plan, you will be billed $399 every 28 days, and will get 200 minutes during each 28-day period.

What does the setup fee cover?

The setup fee covers the initial programming, onboarding, and training required for your account to go live.

What happens if I go over my number of allowed minutes?

If you go over the minute allowance for any given billing cycle, every additional minute will be charged at your base rate. For example, if you are on the Professional Plan, you will be charged $1.99 per minute (base rate ($1.99 = $399/4 weeks divided by 200 minutes)).

How does the 21-day money back guarantee work?

The money back guarantee is only valid for the first 21 days of client service or 500 minutes of usage, whichever occurs first.
